I have had the opportunity to read it and a couple of my co-workers have too. It's been a constant reference and a reminder during my everyday life. This book is truly an eye opener. It let's me know that if you made it through all of that, that I can make it through anything by trusting in my GOD. All I can say is that you are truly an inspiration in my life. My life is so much better after coming in contact with you and having Bitch Mentality to refer back to. My prayer life has become much stronger and I have had mountains moved everyday. Words really can't explain it, all I can say is that it's a must read!

The book Bitch Mentality is a book I consider to be on the front-line of ministry. It is a book that goes beyond religion, and gets right to the root of the issue. Oftentimes we are reserved in our approach to sin, but Satan is real and strong in his tactics to steal, kill, and destroy everything that God has for the Body of Christ.

"The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." This book goes beyond the depths of the normal and reaches the heart of the issue. It exposes the Enemy, and allows room for the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us through the deliverance and healing process.

This book, I believe, is ordained by God and it should be in every household and in every bookstore across the globe. It is time for the church, the Body of Christ, to stand up, pray up, and speak up . . . instead of letting the world tell us to shut up.

God has called us to and commissioned us to let our light shine, not to stay in the four walls of what we call the church, and ignore issues that affect many lives from the pulpit to the last person on the last pew.

"Boy, the contents between the covers surprised me. . ."

Do not judge every book by its cover or title because you might pass up reading a book that blesses your life. Such is the case for Bitch Mentality by La Veeta Ivory. Boy, the contents between the covers surprised me. The front cover and title did not give me any idea of what to expect.

Ms. Ivory's voice is like a big, kindhearted sister-friend who tells it like it is in love as she presents personal experience, Biblical examples, and other stories to help women who have bitch mentality. She explains what she means by bitch mentality, which is the snare of Satan to appeal to the flesh, and stirs up the spirit of lust that causes and keeps some women behaving like female dogs. This mentality keeps a person on a path to hell.

The author notes Bible passages throughout the book. She explains how to overcome the mentality she uses in her title. The author presents spiritual lessons and explains symbols and allegory. Her interpretation of scripture gave me a contemporary application on the stories of Bible women such as Jezebel and Potiphar's wife and new insight into childhood lyrics and stories.

I would recommend this book for any woman who wants to keep it real and search the soul of her sexual lifestyle. The author writes as a woman who has experienced both defeat by Satan and deliverance by God through studying, understanding the truth of God's word and following the direction and voice of the Holy Spirit. I found myself saying "AMEN" many times, as I read the book.

I think that this book would be good for personal study and for women in groups who are ready for spiritual meat and are not afraid to eat it served rare.
